At A Shoulder To Lean On, our journey began with a simple act of kindness and a vision to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism and ALL children in need. It all started with giving a child a teddy bear to put a smile on their face. Partnering with Dana Smith, a dedicated advocate for autism research and community support, we initiated a teddy bear drive with the slogan “KIDS NEED HUGS TOO.” This heartfelt initiative evolved into the establishment of our nonprofit organization, driven by a deep-rooted passion to help all individuals. With over 20 years of experience in community service and a commitment to serving those facing challenges, we stand out for our unwavering dedication to creating a positive impact and providing essential support to children and families in our community.
